Swiss Dandelion Leaf (Taraxacum sp.)The leaf of a dandelion is a wonderful challenge. The curving and the venation of the leaf make for dramatic effects. This leaf, found in an Alpine meadow in Ovronnaz, Switzerland, shows how different the venation looks when you turn a leaf (any leaf for that matter) and compare the front and the back with each other.
The way these two images are positioned here makes them look like two 'fish', passing each other in different directions.
