![]() | As September progressed my solo show "Peintures et Dessins" at the Galerie du Pressoir in Ecublens (close to Lausanne, Switzerland) became a fact. I thank those who attended the vernissage for their warm presence and would like to remind you of the opening hours: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 16h00 - 19h00. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be open by appointment. Through October 8, the show will represent the techniques that I work in: water color, gouache, egg tempera, colored pencil and graphite pencil. In the series Sunday concerts, Duo Nativ will delight us with music from Brasil (bossa nova, samba) on Sunday, October 1, at 5pm. Welcome!! July/August welcomed the request for the illustrations of the front and back cover of a collection of poems by Greek poetess Kyriaki Chatziionannidou. The book has been in bookstores since this month of September (2023) and I would like to thank Elodie Masin, editor/founder of publishing house saisOndespluies, for her lovely and supportive cooperation within this beautiful and elegant project. Merci Elodie Thanks also go to the following sponsors: the city of Nyon, the State of Vaud, the canton of Vaud and the Jan Michalski Foundation. Spring 2023 the Still Point Arts Quarterly (USA) published my work once again. Graphite drawings within the theme Minimalist Wisdom. A beautiful edition! In February 2023 ART EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, displayed several images virtually again. I still think going virtual is a great way to go exihibit various pieces at the same time in international shows. Summer 2022 I won three months of international ARTBOXY sponsorship in various galleries of choice. My work has been screen-exhibited at the Lelie Galerij in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Urban Side Gallery in Zurich and the Thomson Gallery in Zug, both in Switzerland, and at the ARTBOXY exhibition at the Venice Biennale, Italy, in June, July and August 2022. Thanks for everyones kind and professional help. And to my cousin Frank for his energetic support of my work at the Lelie Galerij! In April 2022 my work appeared virtually in ART EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, an international show in the restored original Philips electronics factory, built in 1922. Spring 2022 The Moskou Pavillion and the local Apothecary Garden invited the work of a group of international botanical artists in March to their botanical gardens. We hope that our work provided their audiences with a few moments of peace.
Fall 2021 The Grimm Foundation in California was interested in a few images of mine for their Edible Schoolyard Project. It teaches very young children to cultivate a small garden, bring it to fruition and enjoy the crop with their loved ones during a family meal. Thanks to Raj Cheshire.
